Travel Route Tips is a travel information website that helps you plan trips with practical, easy-to-follow guides. We write about how to get to a place, how to get around, where to stay, what to see and when to go, so you can find the answers you need in one place and spend less time searching.
What We Cover
Our guides focus on destinations across Asia, Europe, Africa, the Americas, the Middle East and Oceania. You will find:
- Destination guides: The best things to do in a country, city or region, with practical advice on transport, accommodation and timing.
- Attraction guides: How to visit a specific site, such as a temple, a national park or a famous viewpoint, including the best time to go and what to expect.
- Itineraries: Day-by-day routes for trips of different lengths.
- Travel tips: Budget, packing, safety and planning advice.
How We Write Our Guides
We want our guides to be genuinely useful, so we follow a few simple principles:
- Practical first. Each guide answers the questions travellers actually ask, such as how long to stay, how much time to allow and what to avoid.
- Honest. We mention downsides, such as crowds, heat and difficult logistics, not just highlights.
- Researched. We use official sources, such as tourism boards, park authorities and heritage organisations, and general travel knowledge. Because prices, opening hours and entry rules change often, we point you to official sources for current details rather than quoting numbers that may be out of date.
- Original. Our guides are written for this site, and we do not copy text from other websites.
- Properly credited images. We use photographs released under free licences and credit the photographer under each image.
Keeping Content Up to Date
Travel information changes. We review our guides and update them when we learn that something has changed. If you notice an error or outdated detail, please tell us through our Contact page.
Advertising and Independence
The site is supported by advertising and, in some cases, affiliate links. Advertising does not influence what we write or recommend. For details, see our Disclaimer and Privacy Policy.
